Yep, that's how it should have ended. :-)

I mean, if he's fast enough to go back in time how could he not be fast enough to catch two missiles?

But then most Superman stories are like that. The only way they can throw him into any kind of dilemma is to conveniently ignore some aspect of his super powers.

Which is why I prefer Spiderman. :-)
