I love Google for its geeky in-jokes. If you haven't noticed this one before, search for "recursion" and see what the result page offers as a suggestion under Did you mean.
I'm also reminded of Inglourious Basterds, which I saw yesterday morning, in which one instance of the word "Merci" was translated in the subtitles as "Merci."

Date: 2009-08-23 04:31 pm (UTC)Liked it a lot. Loved certain scenes and images more than I liked the movie overall, but still liked it. Favorite scenes: the French farmhouse scene, and the basement tavern scene. Favorite image: the face projected on billowing white smoke. Violence very squirm-inducing, especially so because the build-up is always so long and excruciatingly tense. Acting is mostly very fine, especially Christoph Waltz as Landa the Jew Hunter. Troubled by the glee Tarantino seems to take in turning the tables of wholesale slaughter on the Nazis, but not sure if that isn't the point. Not sure it is, either.
