It sometimes seems like tourists in the Loop are incapable of walking up State Street without stopping to snarl pedestrian traffic as they snap pictures of this iconic piece of Chicago signage. Your host could not resist the temptation himself on a hot August night last year, though the crowds heading inside for the show had already brought all motion on the sidewalk to a halt.
